Ombudsman Financial Services and Provident Services Many financial service providers may be investigated by the Ombudsman, in particular banks, mortgage companies, insurance companies, mortgage brokers and health insurance companies. It contains the first steps necessary to formalise a complaint to the Ombudsman for Financial Services and Pensions and also contains the required complaint form. It has contained the Official Journal of the EU in PDF format since 1998. European Court of Justice This is a useful guide for the European Court of Justice and the Court of First Instance of the European Communities and their jurisdictions. It contains the full text of judicial case law since 1997, although some documents are not available in English. It also contains summaries of cases prior to 1997, which are available via a link to the EUR-LEX database on the Europa website. European Consumer Centre This website is funded by the Office of the Director of Consumer Affairs and the European Commission and provides information on consumer rights in the EU.

European Patent Office This is the website of the European Patent Office based in Munich.
