The purpose of this Kendra is to provide advice to transgender people and help them resolve their legal complaints. For this purpose, panel counsel and volunteer paralegals are used by DLSA as required. The effort is to provide legal services through paralegal volunteers of members of the transgender community in an inclusive atmosphere. The said Kendra also raises awareness of the various rights and demands of transgender people. In addition to Chandigarh, five such exclusive legal service clinics have been established in predominantly transgender localities in five districts of Tamil Nadu, namely Namakkal, Tiruvallur, Tirunelveli, Madurai and Thanjavur.
